Remember when I was thinking about getting an area rug for the living room? Just for the winter months to cozy up our wood floors? Well, we did. We actually made it a date night (got a babysitter, ate $7 IKEA food, and enjoyed the night to ourselves) which made it double the fun.
Anyway, I'm still sick as a dog and actually just acquired either a cold or flu on top of prego-nausea, so an all-pictures post is the best I can do today! If all goes well, I'll have a review + giveaway on Monday and in the Monday's to come since those are severely backlogged. Thanks for hanging in there friends! Some day, I'll be blogging regularly again ;)

At first I was like WOAH. That's a contrasting pattern if I've ever seen one. But then I was like Yep. It is. And I LOVE IT.
I feel like it's just enough 'modern' and just enough 'cozy' in our mishmash of a space.
And the real reason we bought this $89 gem: for the hours we spend on the floor playing as a family. Much comfier now, Lily and me agree :)
i love the rug. and your sofa! mind sharing where it's from? i'm a new follower to your blog and i love it so far. congratulations on your pregnancy and i hope the sickness goes away for you soon!
ReplyDeleteHey Becca! It's from Leons, a Canadian furniture store. But we found ours on Craigslist ;)
DeleteWe bought a rug for our little girls' room and it has made so much of a difference in play time/reading time/ snuggle time.
ReplyDeleteI like the contrast.
I'm here from Naptime Diaries and I'll be sticking around because we're most likely moving to Montreal this fall. We've lived there before and love the city. It's so fun finding another Canadian blogger, I know there's tons I just haven't found that many. =)
Breanne! So exciting to hear from another Cdn blogger, and maybe even a Future-Montrealer! Tell me everything about moving here! Would love to connect when you arrive in la belle provence :)
Deleteooohhh I love it! You're right, it's just modern enough and just cozy enough. Great choice. Hope you feel better soon.
