My 2013 resolutions are meant to personally inspire, better myself, and
benefit our family. My 2013 plans for our home are totally different.
There's no grace in the latter! We've been planning these home
improvements since we moved in and 2013 is the year! (sources all

Install (or pay someone to install) back splash in the kitchen.
Probably white subway tile, but maybe subway tile in a grey/white marble to add some depth to our very white kitchen. We'll see what we can afford when the time comes

Lighting is such a big thing for me and our kitchen needs it more than any other room since there are no windows or direct light. Our cabinets already have a lip that could hide simple IKEA light strips, so we'll probably go that route.
I've been collecting plates for two years now and all that's stopping me is that I haven't bought the apparatus to hang the plates. MUST.HAPPEN.
