I LOVE Fall and even have become a fan of Winter (what can I say, when you live in such a cold place, you learn to embrace it), but it really snuck up on me this year.
Thankfully today I had a ride to church so I was able to go (and it was sooooooooooooo good!! hubby's sermon, the musical worship, seeing friends, meeting new people, AH.) and the cold weather took me by surprise. Mostly because I had Lily with me, and she had NO appropriate clothing! eeeeek!
I'm just realizing now that I need to get her winter boots (and she's actually out of shoes too, so she wore her brother's today so she didn't slip on the floor in her socks), hat and mitts, a winter coat, and some kind of snow pants or snow suit too. I headed over to Craigslist and Kijiji and found some cute options on the coat front, so we`ll see where that leads, and then to Etsy for the shoes.Check out these adorable non-slip boots (indoor) that I picked up for Lil! They're almost half the price of Robeez, totally unique and handmade, and the same idea - comfy, non-slip, warm. Love love love them. Now so get my baby girl some warm weather clothes before our next outing!!
