more hoop-la

Remember Lily's nursery and how I made a few easy fabric hoops with the left-over fabric from the quilt Lisa made for us?

I love them but the wall seemed too big for only 7 of them (maybe because a lot of them were really small). I had more fabric but not hoops and though they're only like $2, sometimes it seems impossible to get out the door to buy them, amen?  Anyway, the other day, I did just that. Bought a few more hoops (all large or medium in size) and in 5 minutes her wall looked like this:

much better!

The grey and yellow fabric is from Amy Butler's Midwest Modern line. Love love love it. I'm so glad Lis added it to the quilt even though the colours weren't orange and green, cause it looks amazing and because I'm no quilter and sometimes too obsessed with matching, I'd have missed it. The green and white damask fabric in the middle was from Fabric Land last year (I think it's still there). The bright green fabric in the top left is a fat quarter from Emeline and Annabelle.

...and this little ham likes it too :)
